Monday's Training

Collegeville Fire Company Volunteers, May 05

On Monday, May 5th, UPT Fire & Emergency Services, hosted and led a multi-company training at the vacant Quest Diagnostics office building on S Collegeville Rd.
This training was focused on the 5 and 2 response (5 engines and 2 ladders as initial response to a building fire).

Mondays are for training and for keeping our skills sharp.
On Monday our volunteers attended a presentation and After Action Review of the Line Of Duty Death of Firefighter Sean DeMuynck from Penn Wynne- Overbrook Hills Fire Company in Lower Merion Township.
In order to truly honor the fallen, we must be willing to objectively examine what happened and learn from it.

Collegeville Fire Company Volunteers, April 15

14:40 hours Station 34 was dispatched on automatic aid to Perkiomen Township for a reported Non-Commercial building fire along with Station 66; 86; 68-C; SD68; 52; 51. Chief 66 arrived on scene and reported a tree and wires on fire and held the response to 66 units and Fire Police Units
U34-1 w/ FP34-1 and FP34-8 responded to Godshall Road and Brookside Road and closed the roadway at that location.

Fire Police Assist at MVA with Rescue Upper Providence Twp.

Collegeville Fire Company Volunteers, April 14

At 3:35pm Monday, Station 34 Fire Police along with the Upper Providence Fire Police Task Force, Squad 68 and Trappe Fire Company No. 1 and Limerick Fire Department were dispatched to 1600 block of Main Street in the township for a vehicle rescue.
